I read your question and i understand your concern. Black discoloration around the ring of the penis with no prior trauma or sex or injury of any kind is likely a benign issues. Ring of the penis in both circumcised and uncircumcised people may get darker some times and is attributed to many things like poor hygiene, friction rub of penis, penile bumps like clogged sebaceous pores.

if there is no discomfort i would like you to wait and see if the symptoms subside on its own. Other wise there is no harm in getting evaluated for the discoloration on penis.
