Brief Answer:
Due to muscle spasm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain that you are having seems to be due to muscle related issues. It is good that CT scan has come normal and all the cardiac causes have been ruled out.
The treatment goes in following lines: rest, lifestyle modifications (namely- avoiding pillow while sleeping, following a healthy diet plan, maintaining suitable posture while working on computer/driving, avoiding any activity that strikes neck discomfort), medications (pain killers in combination with muscle relaxants) and most important physiotherapy ( in form of neck exercises, if required local ultrasonics).
Do get your Vitamin D3 and B12 levels evaluated also.
I hope this answers your query.
