Posted on Thu, 16 Jun 2016
Question: Good day doctor!
My daughter is 12. In the past, there is a growing skin or bodypart on her clitoris. This is quite visible even with so much hair around the area. She's had her 1st periode (even 2nd one recently).
What can this be and what can be the cause of it? I'm worried!
Thanks for taking your time to answer me!

Thanks once again! I'll surely follow up with medical examinations.

Forgot to inform in my last respons that she has since her last and second period complained about stomach/abdominal pain (almost through the entire period. And now again. So, every now and then, the pain comes, lasts for about 15min, and comes back after a while.

Could it have to do with this?

Regards,
Worried mother.

Brief Answer:
This pain seems to be menstruation related - don't worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... this pain seems to be related to her periods. Please do not worry about this. This is not related to the increase in size of the clitoris your daughter is having. Thank you for accepting to follow my advice.
