What Causes Altered Mechanical Axis Of Right Foot?

default
Posted on Thu, 18 Dec 2014
Question: My right foot seems to be turning to the inside almost like if my ankle had been broken and didn't heal correctly. Has a pulling sensation that runs down on inside of ankle all the way to big toe. Makes me think of a puppet strings being pulled

Brief Answer:
this can be due to altered mechanical axis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have studied your case.
There is probably altered mechanical and anatomical axis.
If mechanical axis is going medial to knee then to compensate toes may go in inversion.
Another POSSIBILITY of arthritis leading to toe and foot inversion.
you may need clinical examination and x ray to confirm diagnosis.
If required you may need blood investigation also.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
