What Causes Acute Diarrhea And Abdominal Bloating After Eating?
Question: i am 29 years old. I have eaten out in the afternoon today at a good restaurant. but within two hours of that i have started getting loose motions, and have been to the washroom six times since then. I am also feeling bloated. what medicine should i take. I am usually constipated and have an acidity problem. Kindly advise.

Bland liquid diet, followed by soft semisolid and solid diet.
Lots of water or fluid orally.
Oral rehydration solution or ORS to be taken as and when required.
Antibiotics like ofloxacin-ornidazole if symptoms persist for more than 12 hours.
After symptoms are relieved, pantoprazole-domperidone or pantoprazole-levosulpiride should be taken for a month to tackle acidity.

Dear Doctor,
Thank you so much for your advise. Based on the formula the chemist have me tablet O2 and Ors. Could you please suggest me the dosage. As in the number of tablets I should take and for how many days. Also should I take some digestive medicine. Could you please suggest a brand name for the pantomprazole and dompridine drug.

You can take O2 twice daily after meal for 5days. That is the normal course of such antibiotics.
Also there are many drugs available with a combination of proton pump inhibitors and domperidone. Pan-D, Acera-D, Pantocid- DSR etc are available.
Also for good metabolism and bowel clearance, probiotics like lactobacillus XXXXXXX are quite useful.
