Brief Answer:
Buscopan can be taken if you have colicky stomach pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Good morning
Sorry to hear about your illhealth
Stomach complaints are common after flu symptoms due to viral illness and associated medication usage.
If I understand your symptoms correctly, you have pain in the stomach, bloating and constipation and in your words you meant it as swollen bowels.
Duphalac will take certain time (typically 6-10 hrs after intake) to act and neednot always assist in passage of stool in an hour. For a faster bowel movements, I suggest suppositories (like bisacodyl or glycerine) given per rectally by a nurse practitioner.
I would suggest you to take tablet omeprazole (If you are not previously allergic) 20 mg before meals and that may give you significant relief
Avoid consuming milk as it can worsen your bloating
I also suggest to visit near GI specialist for further evlauation of your symptoms since you had similar symptoms before

Hope this would answer your question and would help in relief if your symptoms
Wish you a speedy recovery
