What Causes Abdominal Pain While On Dronis?

Question: Hi Doctor.
I have been taking Dronis 30 (along with Pyricontin) for almost two years now for my acne but I know that it is a contraceptive. I had my last period on 24th February and had sex with my boyfriend on the night of 3rd as well as 4th March (8th & 9th day of my cycle and had already taken 4 & 5 doses respectively of Dronis 30 on these dates since I start taking it on the 5th day of my period).
For the last week, I have had upset stomach including stomach ache, gas, indigestion etc. And sometimes minor abdominal pain & on some days, I urinate more number of times than other days.
My period is due on 24th March.
Can I be pregnant?

Is Dronis 30 enough to avoid pregnancy? (I take it with Pyricontin regularly at the same time everyday without missing a dose)
Is it safe to have sex without protection?
Please suggest all possible alternatives to avoid pregnancy & also all precautions I could take (as I definitely don't want to get pregnant).

Thanks Doctor! One last query: I have started having sex quiet recently. When my boy friend tries to penetrate me, there's a piercing sort of a pain in my vagina. We have tried intercourse twice or thrice but only the tip of his penis is able to go in.
I am very well aroused during the act but when he tries deeper penetration, I have this pain & a feeling like if he goes deeper, my abdomen will explode & then have to ask him to stop. What could be the problem? Please also help me with a solution. Thank you!

The feeling of pain on deep penetration could be due to a tight vagina and apprehension. This is a normal finding for the ones who are new to this act. You can use a neutral lubricating jelly like KY jelly before the act to help.

Hello Doctor. I am back again with a query. I had my period on 24th March and started Dronis 30 (along with Pyricontin) on 28th Mar (5th day of my period). I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the morning of 2nd Apr (10th day of my). I was unwell and was taking Moxikind 625 mg (twice a day), Paracetamol 650 mg (twice to thrice a day), Celin (twice a day) & Becosule capsule (once a day) from 30th Mar until 2nd Apr. Could any of these meds have affected the effectiveness of birth control pills Dronis 30? Is there a chance I could get pregnant?

Moxikind can decrease the efficacy of the pill but since you have been taking it continuously for last 2 years the chances of having an ovulation are very remote. You can avoid taking any emergency pill now and avoid any future such encounters while taking an antibiotic.

Thank you Doctor. I would like to just confirm: i definitely don't need emergency contraceptive? Also, how soon should one take emergency contraceptive after unprotected sex?
Doctor, there was little thick white discharge from my vagina (not on waking up at 6. It was only at about 1 30 XXXXXXX time in the afternoon today. This was also the first time i had intercourse). What can this discharge mean?

Chances of pregnancy are less than 5% and taking an emergency pill will not further lower the chances of pregnancy. it is best to take emergency pill within 24 hours for 95% protection.
The discharge can be due to left over semen or due to vaginal secretions. it is normal to have such mild discharge after an intercourse.
