Brief Answer:
Please clarify - thank you.

Detailed Answer:
So I understand that you have a sinus infection and that TMP-SMX is giving you gastrointestinal pain.

Here are some suggestions:
1. Try to continue the TMP-SMX but take it after a meal. This may decrease absorption slightly, but will be much more tolerable.
2. Or...Call your doctor for a different antibiotic.
3. Or...Try to ride out the sinus infection with nasal irrigation and steroid nasal spray. Most sinus infections will eventually resolve without antibiotics. An over the counter steroid nasal spray such as Flonase will help to decrease the inflammation in the nasal passages and sinuses. It may take a few days to work, but will be very helpful.

Now for the request for clarification: Why would you want to take morphine right now? It will not help your infection and if anything may cause excessive dryness.
