Question: I believe I have the flu. started Saturday. have diarrhea with cramps. now after the diarrhea, i get more cramps and then I bleed.

Hello,

diarrhea with bleeding requires medical assessment to exclude some serious disorders and some disorders that require treatment. Diverticulitis for example can become serious if left untreated. Gastroenteritis caused by Shigella requires antibiotic treatment... etc...

If it's just a viral infection then it will get better by itself and you can't do much besides getting enough fluid (to avoid dehydration) and checking your vital signs (heart rate and blood pressure mostly).

So in conclusion, assessment of your condition is required to diagnose the cause of bleeding and provide appropriate treatment, if needed.
