What Causes Abdominal Bloating While On Susten?

Question: Hi Doctor,

I went thru iui last Saturday, I am on susten tablets since then

today is my 5th day after iui.. I am having abdominal bloating which has caused gas formation. can let me know what is the reason

Abdominal bloating during pregnancy or after IUI are caused from the high levels of progesterone ,you take and SUSTEN that is a progesterone.
Progesterone causes the smooth muscle tissue in your body (including the gastrointestinal tract) to relax.
This slows down digestion, giving the nutrients from food you eat more time to enter your bloodstream and reach baby.

The most common sign and symptoms are :
Sore Breasts
Nausea
Frequent urination
Constipation with bloating
Backaches
Fatigue
