Question: I had. Bariatric surgery the rous n y procedure in November and now have severe discomfort and pain in my abdomen. Is pancreatitis a common complication of this procedure?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Abdominal pain is common sequelae of bariatric surgery. Pancreatitis is common too but that needs confirmation first by serum amylase and lipase assessment. Apart from it , gallbladder stones, acid reflux and dumping syndrome may present this way of abdominal discomfort and should be evaluated.
