What Causes A Visible Painful Vein On The Hand?

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Oct 2016
Question: Hello,
I went to grab my steering wheel and had a really bad bruised type pain and I noticed my vein was inflamed and painful to the touch. It goes down with in the hour but there is a constant bruising feeling in that area of my hand. That same vein has inflamed like that about 3-4 times a week in the past month.

Brief Answer:
Is this vein visible on an image? Please, upload for review!

Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks for this query.

This sounds a little not too typical and I will like to have an image and review. This way, I can provide more personalized and helpful response to you. If it is not visible on an image, let me know as well and will have to deal with abstract imagination of what the exact issue could be.

To upload an image, simply click on the link to upload a file and follow the instructions. If this proves difficult, please send the image by mail to YYYY@YYYY and request that the image should be uploaded to your query.

Thank you. I uploaded a picture to the reports file. Let me know if that isn't coming through. I could not find the image upload so that is why I chose report file. You may not see anything significant because it's not inflamed now. It comes and goes. It is the vein near my middle finger.
