What Causes A Recurring Rash On The Body?

default
Posted on Wed, 28 Sep 2016
Question: I keep getting an intermittent rash in various parts of my body. it will appear in one area, then its gone from there and in another area. very itchy. I'm trying too decide if it has to do with a new set of sheets given to me or maybe a soap I;m using. but that soap I've used before so I don't think that's it.

when will I hear something? I already paid, etc. and keep checking my email.

Brief Answer:
Hives?

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are being bothered with a recurring rash that itches. This does sound like hives. If the area becomes raised swollen red and itching and then disappears just as sudden as it appears then it most likely is hives. This is a reaction to something you are allergic to. Sometimes we never actually find what it is that you are reacting to. I would possibly keep a diary of what your ate, where you went, clothing or lotions ect. that you may have come in contact with prior to the rash.

To treat the rash benadryl, claritin or zyrtec will all help. You can also use topical hydrocortisone in addition to the antihistamine pills. If none of this works then I recommend either seeing your medical provider or take a picture of the rash and send us the image. We maybe able to identify the rash from your images.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
