What Causes A Rash On The Scalp?

default
Posted on Tue, 25 Oct 2016
Question: I have had a "thumb-sized" raised rash on my scalp for a few weeks. It is sensitive when I comb my hair. I don't know if it's related, but now the eye on the same side of my head (right) is sensitive (mild pain) when I close it tight.

Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to a fungal infection.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. It seems that you could have a fungal infection over your scalp (mentioned area). I would insist you to get an image of the affected area and to share them here. I would also insist you to apply candid (clotrimazole) lotion over the affected area for a few days and see if it helps.

Regards
