Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

Based on the history you have shared, such incidences may happen from time to time and have nothing to be worried about unless it has not lead to choking or severe respiratory distress which isn't the case with you. Mild irritation may happen for a while and may lead to coughing but for that you can take small sips of fluid and follow it with a dry loaf or bite of bread or bun to pass through the throat clearing any irritant left along epiglotis or soft structures of junction of food and wind pipe. In furture remain cautious with laughter or taking foods in hurry or while driving. If symptoms doesn't settle or increase in intensity then consult nearby medical facility but hopefully things will not go to that verge. Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
