What Causes A Hard Feeling Of Bump In The Ear?
Can be sunburn, cortisone cream & antihistaminic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
According to your complaints it can be a sunburn but has he developed any burning, itching or redness over the affected area?
Sunburn are usually treated with application of steroid creams like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily for 7-10 days and if associated with any itching or burning antihistaminic like tablet Chlorpheniramine 4 mg can be given once daily at bedtime.
Moreover broad spectrum sunscreen has to be used at intervals of every 3-4 hours during the day time.
If possible I would recommend you to upload the photographs of the affected areas so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
Ear looks normal, forehead seems to be sunburnt
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
His ear seems to be normal.
This whitish discolouration doesn't seem to be related to sunburn.
It seems to be a normal thing must be present for a long time.
His forehead looks like sunburnt.
So cortisone cream can be applied on it twice daily for few days to resolve it.
