Question: I just noticed today after my shower that I have a cyst or a growth by my rectum

In case it is gradually increasing in size or painful then an infection may be there. In that case removal or oral antibiotics may be needed to control the infection. Till then you can do hot compress in the area and take a mild pain killer for relief.
