What Causes A Bump On Forearm After An Injury?

default
Posted on Sat, 19 Apr 2014
Question: Hello, I just hit my forearm really hard on the edge of a desk and now this bump is appearing where I hit it. The bump is over a vein. Is this normal or anything to worry about? The bump itself is very hard and does not hurt when I touch it.

Brief Answer: Bump could be oozing of the fluid Detailed Answer: Hi I suggest an ice pack/ice cube there immediately. This stops the enlarging bump. checked the pic. Otherwise nothing to worry about. If it pains you can pop in a pain reliever like Ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil). Hope this helps.
