Brief Answer:
You need to get investigated to rule out Enlarged Prostate .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have passed blood in urine very recently?

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have other urinary symptoms like frequency for urination .nocturia, urgency for urination ,poor stream etc suggestive of enlarged prostate which is common at this age ?

The common cause of blood in urine at this age is a leak of blood form torn superficial veins on the surface of enlarged and congested prostate which gets sealed off immediately .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
Prostate can get enlarged after few years even after surgery of TURP.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

During endoscopic surgery of (TURP) urologist resects (Removes ) only the portion of the prostate called Adenoma and not the entire prostate gland .

Hence it is common to get enlargement of remaining part of the prostate after few years .

Consult qualified Urologist for revaluation and further treatment as suggested earlier .

Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
You need endoscopic evaluation to decide further treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

The source of blood in urine is usually from the torned superficial vein on the surface of enlarged prostate which can be confirmed only on endoscopic examination of bladder and urethra (Cystoscopy)

The further treatment is decided by a concerned Urologist based on findings like size of the gland ,configuration of prostate glans .

Taking Dutasteride once daily may hep to reduce the congestion of prostate and prevent getting hematuria

Thanks and Regards.
