Question: Hi ,
I have one baby girl , now 5 yrs old born weighing just 1.7 kgs. Everything else was fine with her except low birth weight . From past 2 years we are trying for another baby but have had 1 abortion 4 years back and 3 miscarriages ( @8 weeks, @5 weeks and @4 weeks )since then. Sent fetal sample for testing and everything came back normal. We are both healthy and do not have any bad habits. No pollution , no stress and healthy lifestyle. Can you please explain why this is happening to us. ?What other tests need to be done . I am 33 years old and my husband is 38. We want to try again but very scared.

Brief Answer:
Most likely chromosomal problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns and feel sorry about it.
In early weeks of pregnancy or in first trimester the most likely cause of misscarriage are chromosomal abnormalities ( genetic) and it is very difficult to confirm the diagnosis.
So you can go for genetic testing and start having folic acid tablet daily.
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.
Regards
