Brief Answer:
You are having paresthesia

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
As per your description it seems like pins and needle sensation also known as parasthesia.
Most often it is transient and resolve spontaneously within couple of weeks. Rarely it can run a long course where it is due to weakness nerve and reduced blood flow. Undetected diabetes can weaken your nerves and results in parenthesia. Stress and anxiety can also results in this unpleasant condition. Rare causes are transient ischemic attack, or autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis or lupus , herpes zoster etc.
Detailed evaluation is needed to find out the cause. Do a nerve conducting study which is the first line investigation. Check blood sugar level to rule out undetected diabetis. A CT scan is sometimes used to rule out some causes from the central nervous system.
Consult a neurologist and he will direct you accordingly.
As of now avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Take vitamin B12 supplements like neurobion as lack of B12 can result in this condition.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks
