Posted on Sat, 20 Jun 2015
Question: Why is my penis shrinking! I was on Lexapro for about 6 years and was using 10mg a day. I have been off for about 3 months now and my flaccid penis is at least an inch or 2 smaller. Why!

Brief Answer:
Your penis is not shrinking

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You are concerned that your penis is shrinking. I can assure you it is not shrinking. Your penis maybe retracting higher into your scrotum but the overall size will not change.

Your erections will be the same size as they were before taking medication. A flaccid penis will change in size and diameter depending on temperature, blood pressure and activity. This is normal and is nothing to worry about

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care questions and concerns
