Question: Hello Doctor I have fractured my wrist 2 weeks ago a classic fracture or the radius but I am experiencing a burning sensation at the base of the wrist the under part. Should I be concerned?

A burning sensation at the base of the wrist can be due to a mild nerve injury or compression due to the swelling in the area of fracture. This will gradually subside on its own in few weeks. If there is no intense pain and you can move your fingers without any pain and there is no numbness or loss of muscle strength then a nerve injury is not likely. I hope this answers your query.
