Question: last Friday I was bow shooting and I hit my arm with the bow string resulting in a really bad bruise. as the bruise is beginning to fade it is warm to the touch, and my arm aches. I have also had some tingling in my fingers. Is this part of the healing or cause for concern?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To understand better please tell me-
1. Range of movement at elbow as compare to the other normal side?
2. Any swelling over arm which is very hard to touch?
It is unusual to have tingling sensation following bruise, this happens only in severe soft tissue Injury leading to firm to hard swelling with resultant pressure on nerve supplying the hand.
Usually the bruise heals with in a time span of 2-3 weeks. You may add prescription only drug like trypsin/chymotrypsin to reduce swelling to the treatment you are already having.

Looking forward to your reply.
Take care
