Question: A 23 year old white male has suddenly presented aches in joints and muscles. He went to the ER and they found kidney function to be 100%. We’re wondering what this presentation could indicate.

Hello,

There are many different causes for aches in joints and muscles from common cold or flu to Lyme etc
If I were your doctor I would suspect Lyme.
The person may not remember the tick bite or erythema .
I would recommend to do ELISA test and Western Blot.
Meanwhile take ibuprofen or naproxen for pain .
