Brief Answer:
You should hear the alarm of your body.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.

I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.

We all very well know that excessive alcohol consumption even beer can harm your health in significant way.

And i can say the symptoms you are getting are warning signs from your body.

Our body gives our warning sings like this only, if you take them seriously and limit the alcohol consumption, it is fine, else you land into trouble.

I am not against alcohol, but you should do it in moderated doses.

Many people also develop pain in abdomen, after drinking beer due to a disease called as Celiac Disease, in which you are allergic to wheat, barley, oat.
If you always develop loose stools and pain in abdomen following beer consumption, you should get tested for it.

The cough and reflux part develops due to Gastric Irritation by Beer, known as GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease).
For this you may take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day daily in morning empty stomach for 10 days.

I would like to know following:
1. Do you always get pain abdomen and diarrhea after beer consumption?
2. Since how long have you been drinking and in what amount.

This is my best advice for you with the available details, if you have any further query, please ask us.
