Brief Answer:
Definitely you need to get her tested

Detailed Answer:
Hi...Greetings from XXXXXXX I too have been following up the outbreak of swine flu in XXXXXXX

I completely agree with your concern about swine flu.

The symptoms of HIN1 flu virus (human swine flu) are very similar to those of seasonal human influenza.

People with swine influenza may experience:Body aches, Chills, Cough, Fatigue, Fever, Headache, Loss of appetite, Sore throat. Some people with H1N1 flu virus have also reported vomiting and diarrhea. The severity of symptoms can vary from mild to severe and sometimes require hospitalization. In some cases, severe complications such as pneumonia and respiratory failure can cause death.

I suggest you do the swine flu testing at Lalpath labs, which is a lab of international standards and it is there in XXXXXXX too. It is done in respiratory samples. Respiratory samples including throat swab, and nasopharyngeal /nasal swabs are taken from ambulatory patients.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

thanks for your answer. I would like to have a suggestion that My Doctor asked me to wait for one more day to complete the 3 day course of azibact and even then if there is not relief, then he suggested me to go for investigations. So shall I wait for another day.. She is having cough and intermittent fever no cold... are these symptoms related to swine flu

Brief Answer:
Please do not wait

Detailed Answer:
Hi... I suggest you to go ahead with the investigations today itself. This I am telling because Swine Flu is rampant in XXXXXXX now. Another reason is that antibiotics wouldn't work...it is entirely different management. It requires Oseltamivir phosphate.

If the test is negative, we can wait peacefully
