Brief Answer:
get done 2d echo.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Since you are having COPD and sleep apnea, following are the possibilities for your symptoms.
1. Right sided heart failure.
2. Left sided heart failure.
3. Acute kidney injury.
Increase in weight, swelling in feet and leg etc are symptoms of fluid retention.
And above mentioned causes can develop fluid retention in the background of COPD and sleep apnea.
So get done
1. 2 d echo to rule out left and right sided heart failure.
2. Ultrasound examination of kidneys and S.creatinine to rule out acute kidney injury.
Possibility of right sided heart failure and cor pulmonale is high. So first consult cardiologist and get done 2d echo to rule out this.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
