Question: What are the symptoms of celiac disease. I have two daughters who have it and they are urging me to explore the possibility that I should consider the possibility of going gluten free

Celiac disease manifests in adults mainly with diarrhea and weight loss. Other symptoms may be constipation and some other patients are obese. It takes a blood test and you would be able to tel whether you do or not. If you have any of the above symptoms, ask your doctor about the possibility of celiac disease. If you don't, a test would put your mind state at ease and that would be okay.
