Brief Answer:
Knowledge/ expert advise & meticulous efforts help to overcome the hurdle.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the query. I have read & understood your concern.
* MRSA - MRSA is a specific strain of bacteria ( staphylococcus aurious) which is resistant to Methicillin ( a type of penicillin related antibiotic ) & many other forms of antibiotics usually used for the treatment. This leads to non healing of the infection.. leads to deterioration of health.
* Cause of this acquired resistance is uncontrolled / insufficient or inadequate use of antibiotic over last few years.
* Mode of infection .. can be
- Air borne contact/contact with the linen, cotton clothing, draw sheets used by infected person ( cotton, polyester, mixed material )where bacteria remain active, for 4- 50 days , if not disinfected properly.
* Risk factors.. breakage of skin barrier( surgical cases/ old age/less resistance/ inadequate hospital cleanliness.
* The common affected parts are skin or respiratory system
* Diagnosis is by culture & sensitivity test of the body fluids/ skin lesion/ sputum/ swabs taken from infected area.
* Management-
- Avoiding contact ( personal hygiene/ cleaning of clothing in use of the patient./ skin contact with infected skin )
- Try to gain resistance by high protein/ vitamin & mineral rich diet with special attention to antioxidants.
- Have healthy life style / positive attitude.
- Adequate hospital cleanliness./ cleanliness of clothing at home.
- Expert physician's advise for specific treatment with suitable antibiotic , pro biotics & nutritional supplements as per need.
Thus with adequate knowledge & it's meticulous management at home / medicines with specialist's advise would help you to cross the challenge you are facing.
Hope, the answer has helped you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
