What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Phimosis?
Question: I am 76 years old, had a radical prostatectomy in 2004 due to prostate cancer, followed by 48 radiation treatments and hormone therapy. Due to the hormone therapy I have not interest in sex, but recently noted that my foreskin is so shrunken that I can no longer retract it over the head of the penis. Now I noticed blood staining in my underwear but no blood is evident in the toilet after urinating. What are the probbile causes?

This problem you are having is called phimosis, the skin due to some reason have gotten a stricture or narrowing so you are unable to retract it.
The blood may not be from the urethra so it aint there in the urine , in phimosis there is a cleaning problem so due to bad hygiene there are pockets of inflammation which can give off blood.
I would suggest you to contact your urologist as soon as possible to discuss the treatment options , usually a surgical treatment is recommended like circumcision.
I would also recommend you not to try force retracting the skin . To avoid any further damage.
