Brief Answer:
myofascitis v/s bone infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.

From the symptoms,it feels that there is an underlying inflammation / infection of the muscle or the fascia.
This,if untreated can cause the above symptoms.

Rarely,if this infection reaches the nerves, then, the symptoms may affect your whole leg.

Underlying bone infection (osteomyelitis) can also cause the muscle to suck inside causing a depression over the skin surface.

I would suggest you to get an MRI / XRay /CT scan of the affected region done.
This will show exact extent of the underlying infection process and help in diagnosis.

You need to consult a orthopedist.

Meanwhile, take anti inflammatory and antibiotic tablets.

Avoid applying anything hot over the affected area.

Cold sponging will help.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.

Thank you.
Best wishes.
