What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Hemiplegic Migraine?
Question: Have possible Hemiplegic Migraines, diagnosed by Primary 4 years ago. MRI was unremarkable back in 2013, had braces then so artifact interfered. Just looked at those scans for the first time and these images concerned me. Is this something I should point out at my first Neurology appointment this week? I've been having increasing symptoms that go beyond migraine.

Only two images are insufficient to achieve a correct diagnosis.
However, seems like the upper part of medulla is compressed and distorted by a thickened or enlarged left vertebral artery.
It is necessary to review the MRI images by a Neuroradiologyst, and for a MRA ( MRI with vascular protocol ) of the craniocervical junction in order to understand better your condition.
Discuss with your Neurologist about these problems.

Thank you Doctor. I am aware that this isn't a diagnosed condition as of yet. Nice to know another person sees it also. I suppose there are many things that could be causing my escalating symptoms. Interesting to find that the Radiologist didn't even point this out in his report. What would be the possible cause of not including it? Even more interesting to note that I had another Radiologist look online today at the images and say "completely normal and clear" and mistake my circle for pointing out a "normal structure of the brain" and my arrow on other image "normal folds of the brain" So I thank you for understanding what I was pointing out. I am also a medical professional.
