Brief Answer:
Ursocol is not harmful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Ursocol contains the active ingredient Ursodeoxycholic Acid which is most commonly used to treat liver conditions like jaundice, gall stone.

Ursocol is a drug which helps in excretion of bile and cholesterol from our body thus decreasing the jaundice. Also,it decreases the raised liver enzyme levels back to normal.

You can continue taking it till your bilirubin levels stabilize without any harm.As your blood urea level 14.00 (normal range 5 to 20 mg/dl) and blood uric acid 6.20 (normal range 3.0-7.0 mg/dl) are completely within normal range.

Ursocol will not have any effect on your blood urea or uric acid level.

For your information, total bilirubin 1.35 md/dl does not have any clinical significance (despite indirect bilirubin is high than direct) unless you have any symptoms related to jaundice but as i said there is no harm in taking Ursocol as prescribed by your doctor.

You may repeat the test after 7 to 10 days of taking this drug.

Hope this detailed information will help you.

Regards,
