What Are The Side Effects Of Ceragem Therapy?
Question: Hi, Is CeraGem a proven therapy? Are there any side effects and would you recommend it?

Basically a thermal acupressure treatment which is claimed to be effective in relieving pain on certain body areas, regularizing the blood circulation, purification of the blood, increasing the immunity and some other conditions.
However there is no scientific study done to prove its efficacy or safety in those condittions mentioned above. Hence it is not an FDA approved therapy.
Since it involves the use of infrared rays, it's use may cause increase skin thickness, irritation, increase risk of skin cancer and some other symptoms.
Based on this, as a physician I would not recommend Ceragem therapy because of the side effects and its inability to treat the underlying cause of the clinical problem.
Rather I would suggest you to get examined by a Physician / Rheumatologist for your symptoms so as to find out the underlying cause for effective treatment.
