Question: I'm sorry I contact you so much, but I respect your advice.

For the past month, I wake up after about 3 hours of sleep, and then can't get back to sleep for another few hours. I used to take just a crumb of Xanax and that would do the trick. Now I seem to need more and more. When I get home from work, I can't help but doze off, which is probably not a great idea, but I'm so tired. What can I do?

You need to modify your life style to get good sleep. Do regular exercises in morning and evening, can try yoga (meditation and asanas) an XXXXXXX traditional art for holistic body health, diet modifications like limited food intake, less coffee or tea, no to alcohol, no coffee 4 hours before bed time, regular participation in recreational activities. Once this approach fails you can think of taking medicines. However take help of sleep expert for better assessment of your health and better outcomes. However measures I have suggested are very effective and harmless.
