Hello,

seroquel has a lot of side effects to patients (including dementia patients). I'll mention some common ones, I can't refer to all of them because they are numerous. If you'd like information about any particular side effect, please use your follow-up questions to ask!

A common side-effect is sedation and somnolence which may result in respiratory distress, aspiration, etc. Other equally common effects include agitation, dizziness and anxiety. Involuntary movements, muscle stiffness (like in Parkinson's disease), dysarthria (difficulty in articulating words), etc

Besides the nervous system, cardiovascular side effects may include arrhythmias and postural hypotension.

Constipation, urinary retention, headache are other relatively common side effects.
