What Are The Side Effects Of Norethisterone?

MY last period was on 3rd of April. I marriage is on 8th of this month. I wanted to complete my periods for this month 5th. You had suggested to take norethisterone tablet 5 mg thrice daily for 3 days, from 24-26 th april. For various reasons I could not take it from 24th and i have taken 5 tablets til now but not regularly. I am afraid if my periods will not preponed. Please suggest.

You had taken drug twice daily or thrice daily?
And on which date you start the drug?

I started on 25th and I have taken maximun 2 tablets a day.

Doctor, I dont have a track of it.. As I told before I have taken maximum of 2 tablets per day. One day it was just one and two other days its 2 and yes not regularly.

Sorry to say but now you have disturbed your menstrual cycle by taking it irregularly and in inappropriate dosages.
Now in my opinion you can continue pill thrice daily for 2 more days means 30 th april and 1 st may and maybe you will resume your period latest by 4 th so maybe you will be free by 8th if you have 3-4 days period.
Another option is to continue the tablet for 15 days ( means if we calculate from 25 th than continue maximum till 9 th) to postponed your period.
And when you stop taking it you will resume your period within a week, so that time you will be free by your marriage Rituals.
I think postponement is now a better option.
