Brief Answer:
Lisinopril (ACE inhibitor) is usually tolerated well.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Lisinopril ( ACE inhibitor group drug) is tolerated well in most people. Some have side effects of cough, blurred vision, light headedness while getting up,sweating , unusual tiredness, decrease in urine out put, cloudy urine.
If you have such side effects you should pproach your treating doctor. In such case it can be replaced by more tolerated drug group Angiotensin Receptor Blockers like telmisartan.
Both these group drugs have very good effect on your organs like kidney heart and brain from harmful remodelling. So it does more good than bad. It also increases your life span. Just have a follow up with your doctor while taking any drugs. There is no drugs with out side effects.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
