Question: Hi, I am a little worried that I am developing a reaction to hthe antiobiotic I am on, Bioxin. Started Thursday night for sinus infection. Today I am shaking each time I move around. My movement are 'jerky' and I just feel weird.

Brief Answer:
Shakiness is a common side effect of clarithromycin, need to replace

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Shakiness or a mild tremor like presentation is a more common side effect of clarithromycin (biaxin), and should be reported to the prescribing doctor so another antibiotic could be prescribed at the earliest ma'am.

I hope you find my response helpful sir. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
