Chlorpromazine does effects tongue protrusion by causing dystonia and there is possibility that your problem of less speaking is due to it. It usually resolve after medicine discontinuation, but may require antihistamine and antiparkinsonian therapy if symptoms are severe or if respiration is compromised.
