Detailed answer given below

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.

These drugs are indispensable for you.

Clopidogrel is continued for at least 1 year after angioplasty.
After that only Ecospirin is sufficient.

Following are the most common side effects of the drugs you are taking:

1. Ecospirin & Clopidogrel : Bleeding, Echymosis, gastric ulcers, acidity. You should take this drug after meals preferably at bed time, and i always add a drug like Pantoprazole when i prescribe these drugs.
If ever you notice any red spots, ecchymotic patches, contact your doctor.

2. Atorvastatin: Usually cause liver dysfunction and myopathy. You should get regular Liver function tests particularly AST/ALT for this purpose.

3. Nitrocontin: Causes headache usually. At this dose you might not feel it.

Give me following details:
1. Do you consume alcohol? Or do you smoke?
2. Which stents if you know were placed?
3. What is your blood pressure and heart rate?
4. Since how long are you on these medications.

This is my best advice for you based on available details. If you have any further query please ask me and revert with the asked details for a better help.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
I asked those questions to see if you require any modification of treatment.
Your pulse rate is slightly high.

So, in such situation i would advise you to take Metoprolol XR 25 mg twice a day instead of 50 mg once a day. If required we would increase the further dose.

Rest as per your query, i have told you the side effects of the drugs you are taking.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Stay Healthy.
