Question: I am taking 40 mg of Prilosec once a day. I think I mistakenly took it this morning and tonight for a total of 80 mg today. Is this a concern for my health?

Brief Answer:
This is ok.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

A total dosage of 80 mg, divided in two, is still safe, and as you've only done this one time, it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know if you use a pill planner but these can be helpful.

So, no worries - you should be fine.
