Question: Hi, feeling stupid now. Just took 600 MG of Venlafaxine ER, thinking of another supplement dosage. Tried to vomit with no luck. Should I eat or any ideas ? thankyou. I am in fairly good health and no obvious health issues that I am aware of. Thankyou, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Several clarifications.

Detailed Answer:
That is double the maximal dose.

There's just ONE little problem but you have to go immediatly to the ER.
Tell them they can release you after about 12 hrs. (maybe less). Consider charcoal.
It's got GENERALLY a good safety margin BUT it can change the heart conduction and give FATAL arrhythmia.

QT prolongation (heart conduction changes) occur from the medicine. They are a bit unlikely BUT some people already have some of this and in these people the drug can be fatal.

GO TO THE ER. HAVE SOMEONE DRIVE YOU.
