Brief Answer:
There is nothing to worry, but someone needs to be monitored

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi

I can understand your concern for the safety of Zolfresh when taken in larger dose.
I appreciate your concern for the safety profile of Zolfresh.

Zolfresh (Zolpidem) is most commonly prescribed for the short-term treatment of insomnia (lack of sleep).
The total dose of tablets should not exceed 10 mg once daily immediately before bedtime.
When consumed in larger doses it produces central nervous system depressant effects like drowsiness, impaired concentration, unconsciousness, breathing difficulties cardiovascular dysfunction, coma with fatal outcome can occur.

So, if someone has taken 20 mg of Zolfresh by mistake, he or she needs to be monitored for the side effects listed above. If the side effects appear then he or she has to be properly evaluated and treated in ER of the hospital.

Hope this answers your query.
