Question: I am about to have the gastric sleeve procedure, and I wanted to know what types health issues the weight loss will help me avoid?

I am currently 6'2" 290lbs. Will the weight loss help me get off my blood pressure medicine, acid reflux medicine. Will it lower the risk of a blood clot or pulmonary embolism.

What will it do to my metabolism?
