If a male take female hormones, following things can happen.

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your question.
When you start taking female hormones, a number of changes can happen with in your body.
1) Loss of libido
2) Developing large breasts and hips.
3) Less body hair

Your response was not satisfactory; your answer seems to presume that I would be taking a testosterone hormone blocker/inhibiter. I want to just take female hormones. If it helps your answer, distinguish between taking a blocker and not taking one.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Effects of estrogen

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the reply. I understood the point very well that you do not want to take testosterone blocker.

However, if a female hormone pill ( estrogen) is consumed by male in therapeutic doses, the side effects would be the same which I listed earlier. These side effects are due to the estrogen itself.

It is not clear why you want to take female hormones. Usually, when a individual undergo gender change surgery ( male to female), endocrinologist will start with estrogen hormone replacement to attain female physical features.

will a blocker just enhance or speed up the process? I am seriously considering transition but I do not want to reduce male sexual permanently in case I am upset with the result physically and emotionally. Am I wrong that a blocker would make changes permanently to functionality. I do not mind that bigger breasts and hips are permanent.
If I am making an incorrect assumption, please educate me.

thank you, again, I will try to make this my last question

Brief Answer:
Temporary effects of blockers.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
With Most Testosterone blockers, the effect is temporary and is reversible on stopping it ( unless the person under go castration). This is because your testicles will be still producing testosterone which will only stop if we use drugs like GnRH analogues or if castration is done. With testosterone blockers, only the action of testosterone is blocked, but the production of testosterone continues.

You are more than welcome to ask more questions. However, I must say that, please meet an endocrinologist before you make the decision of starting estrogen.
