Question: Hi,
I have Mirena inserted in Feb 2018 to treat adenomyosis. My last periods came in on July 30th and this month it is missed. Is there a possibility of getting pregnancy? please advise

Very low chances of pregnancy are there in your case.

Hello,

As you had Mirena inserted in Feb and having regular period after that there is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case.
A only possibility of pregnancy when mineral is displaced from there place.

So kindly go and check with your treating doctor for Mirena
placement. Period may be delayed due to hormonal imbalance caused by Mirena and adenomyosis. Get your home urine pregnancy test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy as well (though almost nil chance).
