What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Condom Malfunctioning?

default
Posted on Wed, 15 Apr 2015
Question: My boyfriends condom was inside me after we finished and semen dripped out of the top. I am 50 years old and am not on any other birth control. Do I need to be concerned and/or take the morning after pill?

Brief Answer:
No need of pills

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Since you are 50 year old and just small drop of semen has fallen I don't see any chance of pregnancy.

No need of any medicines.

Thanks. And, what about STDs. Since the fluid came out at the top, is there any way to know if that's the only place and, either way, do I need to worry about STDs? This is the first time it has happened to me.

Brief Answer:
No chance of STD

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Since fluid was in very small quantity, there is negligible risk for STD.

No need to test for any STDs. You will be fine.

Let me know if you need any more clarifications.
