Brief Answer:
needs more details.

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir
1. What was the age of your father?
2. What was cause of his death? Cardio- pulmonary arrest is a mechanism of death due to various causes, it is not the cause of death. If doctors told you he had a heart attack?
3. To calculate your risk I need your exact total Cholesterol level, HDL cholesterol level ,your usual blood pressure (in numbers) if you have diabetes/ heart attack/ stroke? Only with details I can calculate your future risk.
Risk of anginal heart disease is important only if your father develop heart attack before the age of 55 years.
You must stop smoking which is foremost risk factor.
Waiting for your reply.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder

Brief Answer:
please see detailed discussion.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
1. The calculated risk of having a heart attack in next 10 years with such a profile is 3%. That means out of 100 patients with such a profile 3 will have heart attack in next 10 years. (I hope you are not diabetic).
2. The foremost risk comes from smoking. If we exclude smoking from this risk profile, the risk comes down to < 1%.
3. As clear from discussion above development of heart attack first time after age of 55 in a male member is not a family based risk factor.
4. Other precautions include optimal weight, avoiding fried and sweet items, regular exercise (supervised). You should consult a physician so that he can examine you and give an appropriate exercise prescription. Avoid psychosocial stress and do meditation/ relaxation exercises.
5. Get your cholesterol/ HBA1C checked at regular intervals.(at least once a year)
Feel free to discuss further.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
